The exhibition One Hundred Years of the Ljubljana School of Architecture is part of a large-scale project commemorating the centenary of the founding of today's Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, created in close collaboration with the Faculty. Following the promotional exhibition at the Cankarjev dom, the Research Exhibition in MAO will further highlight the importance and the impact of the Ljubljana School of Architecture on Slovene architectural production and society of the 20th and 21st centuries. The development of the school will be addressed both through the prism of the pedagogical process and through the operation of the school externally. The architects and theorists actively contributing to the pedagogical process as well as the topics and areas that determine the Ljubljana School of Architecture will be carefully selected and elaborated by MAO curators in collaboration with external experts and Future Architecture emerging creatives. We will explore the significances such as Plečnik's seminar, Ravnikar's B direction, the importance of theory and philosophy for architecture thinking, journalism and communication, influence schools in the broader social context, international exchanges, a seminar as a specific way of operating the School, Architecture, Urbanism, Multidisciplinary ...
