CAFx Film x Architecture: Mapping the Infrastructures of a New Town
This CAFx Summer School in August 2019 will explore the obvious and unspoken relationships between architecture and film. The Summer School will deal with the architecture less glossy, in the form of newly planned towns on the periphery of more or less all major European cities. The camera will be used to explore and document their aesthetic, social and political values and in turn articulate the values of these often neglected places. Over the course of the week the relationship between architecture and film will be explored, discussed and reviewed through film itself.
“Curriculum Revolution” calls for a complete makeover for the architecture school and its curricula toward a fairer future of the discipline.
