Parasite2.0 was born in 2010 by Stefano Colombo, Eugenio Cosentino and Luca Marullo. It investigates the status of human habitat by experimenting a hybrid between architecture, art, social sciences and activism. It is one of the five finalists of YAP MAXXI 2016. It is currently working alongside with IRA-C on the editorial coordination of the Aformal Academy platform for Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture of Shenzen and on the itinerant project Radical Island.

Primitive Future Office

A nomad space for debate, critique and research between reality and virtuality, focused on the evolution of practice

Primitive Future Office

A nomad space for debate, critique and research between reality and virtuality, focused on the evolution of practice
A hybrid approach that involves artists, architects, researchers and activists investigating urgent themes and creating conflict within the practice itself.

Primitive Future Office is a long term project born within the artists’ residency VIR, curated by ViaFarini in Milan in 2014. It is a nomad space for debate, critique and research between reality and virtuality, focused on the evolution of practice. Its goal is to create conflict within the practice itself, destabilizing it, starting from the conviction that debate and conflict are fundamental to the growth of practice and to its way of approaching tasks. It experiments an approach that sees the architect as a builder of debates, blending together artistic curatorship, architectural research and projects.

It has worked on designing during a time of scarcity with "Superscarcity", on ideological duality within the practice with "Shipwrecks", on the spatial implications of the ‘internet of things’ with "Have we become the internet?" and is currently working on "Tomorrow’s Spatial Practice" for the "Aformal Academy" project for Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture in Shenzen.
