To reveal the past, present and the future from here where seeds, signs or scars of all are hidden.

Type of project
  • New alliances

As a resident of a city which has been significant in history for the last two millennia, I have been writing on its many layers as they all coincide "here". History reveals itself as stories, myths, legends and there are many edifices in Istanbul which bears the inscriptions of all. Either monumental ones such as Hagia Sophia or Suleymaniye Mosque or various Art Nouveau buildings in Istanbul's historically "Western" part, Pera, there are many stories which could easily bewilder us. My aim is to use my approach to reveal the continuity and change encapsulated in the FA Platform Open Call projects by creating a historiographic metafiction derived from historical facts which embraces all projects. Thus, I would like to tell the story of the future vision of these projects which I believe have something to tell about the past and the present too. As responses to what happened in the past and present, the future vision is a product of continuity and change.
