Future architecture empowers the user to control and improve the basic dwelling by self implementing good solutions.
File under

We are living in an age of a mass global migration and lack a solution. Those most in need of shelter are left to build for themselves. This project offers a way to relieve and regulate some of the problems by developing a library of available solutions. The idea is to round-up all existing and future projects on the sustainable, DIY ways of building a basic habitat for refugees, migrants and nomads. These would make up a data base of examples, ideas and instructions on how to build, for those who are in need of a shelter but lack the knowledge, skills or resources to do so. The information would be digital, presented in various languages and based on an open source system of collaboration between the authors, users and supporters in order to create the most valuable and easy to implement solutions. A global network of professionals would share their ideas and knowledge with those who are most in need of them, the end result being a more safe, clean and comfortable self built habitat.

Basic idea - the platform is a cathalyst of change by implementing available solutions and developing new ones, based on the principle of design thinking.
