Wasteland Biennal

Exploration, discovery, exploration and creative use of urban wasteland for social activation of residents.
The project aims to revitalize Warsaw's urban wastelands by injecting arts in these places.
File under

The Biennale will be the culmination and a summary of the process which is the key element here, assuming cross-sectorial cooperation based on searching for unused land and its arrangement on a temporary basis, but with the possibility of permanent changes stimulating and beauty of these neglected parts of the city. The sites, selected in the process of joint decisions, will be assigned to different organizations, teams, or individuals, both artists and anyone who presents an attractive design for the spatial arrangement and will be willing to carry it out within the framework of the Biennial. It will be an event during which all the places that were the object of previous activities will be open to the public, thus creating a network of direct points of contact with art, both the typical street art and the one that is associated with closed spaces, both static art and live art.
