Architecture about ARCHETYPES and NATURAL materials
File under

We DO CARE Planet Earth and the PEOPLE.

DESIGN PROCESS is fundamentally rooted on the analysis of CLIMATE and the contexts.

SUSTAINABILITY is meant in an HOLISTIC way.

We want to meet the programs: specific FUNCTIONS related to habits/tipologies.

We intend the ECONOMY in a broad sense; of architectural moves, materials, money.

ARCHETYPE is a TREND-PROOF HORIZON.

STRAW-BALE constructions are highly eco-friendly. CARBON FOOTPRINT is extremely low as such as the embodied GREY ENERGY.

Qualities of STRAWBALE constructions:
- excellent INDOOR AIR QUALITY – no toxic off-gassing
- fresh air – PASSIVE VENTILATION
- ambient TEMPERATURE – thermal storage
- excellent SOUND INSULATION
- HUMIDITY REGULATION – natural plasters

POLITICS - The men’s and womens’ work, their craftsmanship, is a real value that can free communities all over the world; an alternative to the heavy and polluting construction industry to solve the housing crisis.

Grey Energy embodied in conventional construction Vs. strawbale construction

Net CO2 pollution [kg] emitted by production of 1kg of material

An example of a strawbale detached-house in Italy

information on GROUND TEMPERATURE during the year, WIND’s main direction and strenght, SUN SHADING over the seasons AND presence of WATER (rain and aquifer) affects the design mindset
