LIQUID FICTION

speculative filmmaking as architecture
an ongoing collection of films exploring the idea of "liquid fiction"

Type of project
  • Next alliances

the liquid fiction seeps deep into the ground. It follows the roots and foundations indiscriminately. It submerges the power structures buried there. Then at night it rises again: dewdrops or sweat (same thing) glide over the surfaces and diffract all around, revealing new arrangements, new forms, new narratives.

The liquid fiction is a moving and experimental strategy to apprehend a territory. It consists of a speculative gesture anchored in the knowledge of the place - it is therefore architectural and does not require construction. It is a gesture of reclaiming. It inhabits the sensitive, moving and political matter of the cinematographic image.
