We form a design and research based practice which operates between the fields of art, architecture and urbanism. Our mission is to be a catalyst for change, generating innovative ideas that respond to contemporary issues in our society. Through strategic thinking, we aim to explore alternative futures. Working across different scales, from small art installations to territorial strategies, we integrate the human scale within our projects. People are the drivers of change of our cities.

Type of project
  • New alliances

The perpetual expansion of our cities into the productive green space, demands them to embrace the activities which once took place in the rural landscape.
The vital component of the rural landscape mechanism demands to be integrated into the development the cities. Cattle, the ubiquitous component of the green Dutch landscape will become a driving factor in the future development of urban areas and decisive for people’s way of inhabiting, perceiving and experiencing them. The new infrastructure will reclaim aerial and ground space, public and private lands changing thus the imagery of the urban environment. The urban milieu will be reworked as its image and mechanism will be transformed. The present notions of urban mixité, opacity, transparency, or privacy will be deconstructed and recast as changing the description of the city. The planning process of the new infrastructure will request addressing the permeable character of the space, its infiltration and filtration capacity.
