Julio Gotor Valcárcel: Perdido (Lost)

The project displays a new approach to the heritage, recovering spaces as an urban infrastructure.Julio Gotor Valcárcel was born in Albacete, Spain. He is an architect graduated from ETSAM (Madrid), 1st Class Honors, 2017. Before finishing his studies he did a short internship at Atelier Bow-wow, Tokyo. He is a former collaborator at estudio Herreros (Madrid). Currently, he is working at Herzog & de Meuron, Basel. His work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale 2018. He was one of the winners of the Young Talent Architecture Award by the Mies van der Rohe foundation in 2018.The concept was one of the 25 selected ideas at the Future Architecture Call for Ideas 2019 that generated 357 ideas by 704 creatives from 60 countries all over the world.
