landscape's definition
architecture without limits. landscape goes inside to design the "machine a vivré" that will change the appearence of the upcoming cities.
File under

(no capital letters will be used). during the first moment landscape will go inside, architecture outside. after a while, we will never talk again about architecture and landscape. borders will be absolutely blurred, and the real will start being part of our realities again.

in a future city, mostly inhabited for hyperconnected 'homo ludens', houses will have to be shaped according to these new scenarios. plants will become a productive part of our houses, not planted in pots anymore, but taking roles such as producing part of our food and energy, regulating our climatic conditions inside the house and organizing our life around them.

once we will live in this 'machine a vivré' some new artifacts can be planted outside, spread in nature. architecture to temporary live in the landscape. these new artifacts will protect us, giving a primary confort that will let us enjoy the landscape with all its features. we will socialize again in the real (what we still call landscape).

'imposible cities'1. the concept of this project started trying to find a way to express how Europe acted in front of the refugees, promising them life and giving them emptiness. from this concern was born the concept of imposible cities, in order to find the limit in between our idea of home and the undefined landscape. when we don't have anything else, we can just cohabit the landscape, till we can define a space where we can fulfill of our infranormality, to be again at home.

'imposible cities '2. these two draws are part of a gif. check www.lafloristeria.eu to see more.

'domestic silva' is a research project started last year. the main aim is to understand which kind of processes can plants do inside the house and how future habitability can be shaped according to them and to the dynamics of homo ludens . if some plants are planted next to the warm-humid areas, such as bathrooms, humidity can be absorbed, so plants will not have the need to be watered again. the plants can be chosen to accomplish another function, such as producing a particular smell, etc.

'landscape's definition 1'. what is in the realm of real, and what is just another reality? probably we would all answer that landscape is a real more. is it like that? probably not. taking the Lacan distinction in between real and reality, and understanding the real as the unpredictable conditions of our existence, such as the atmosphere, the physical world and death, what is the landscape that we perceive? . the image is from the opening of lafloristeria highlighting the only real.
