Concept design of a European Internet addiction Centre

Brave digital world

Concept design of a European Internet addiction Centre
We currently live in a period of time, best described with words as constant progress, rush, technology inventions and digitalisation. The emergence of a phenomenon, called internet. We live in two parallel realities.

Type of project
  • New alliances

The design of the center is based on the integrated treatment of addiction with the help of the appropriate architectural and program design, both interweaving with nature. An important starting point is the choice of location in nature. As a link between architecture and nature plays an important role in the complex design of the program, which includes everything from the integrated treatment of individuals to the selfsufficiancy and cooperation with the local community. When treating and purifying nature, the addicts also heal their soul and body.

Since such a center does not exist in the European area yet, I believe that Slovenia is more than adequate for it with its central location and its primary and diverse nature. Forests and water are important elements, since their effects have a positive effect on both the psychological and physical well-being of visitors / users of the center, and they provide additional program options.
