Community supported architecture
Community supported architecture
We propose to think at architecture no longer as a collection of spatial items placed in time, but more as an act in a wider social process, where the categories of ‘who’ and ‘how’ have the same worth of ‘what’. To do that we have to completely rethink at the role of people, no more as the mere user of a spatial product; and where to get the sources to ‘build’ an architecture. A ‘Community Supported ARCHitecture‘ is a way in which the final receiver (the people) are involved since the beginning into to the spatial process, as a source of ambitions, needs, know-hows and, solutions, so to become the community for which and because of which and architecture it is made for. This could be possible if we approach the production of ‘space’ more as process based tha helps to build together the community and the architecture.
