In a time when, for example, Rural farms are being sold and Farmers are becoming property developers whilst at the same time, Farms in cities are on the rise, I have become intrigued and wonder what Rural and Urban actually mean to us now.
Are the two swapping their identity?

‘R-U here’ also wants to observe how and if the needs of these communities are changing and how this might impact on our living choices in the future.
Community led housing developments, for instance, are gradually gaining momentum as people adjust their needs and aspirations to be part of a community, be that a Rural, Urban or even a new mix, Ru-urb-ia.
Historically there was a definite divide between the Us and Them of old. Going forward though it seems that Rural and Urban will be more of a sense of US...maybe.
