Eterotopia was established in 2016 by the initiative of a group of young Italian architects. We are a collective of 10 professionals with different backgrounds and specializations in the field of Architecture. We are researchers, theorists and promoters, who re-read the plots of the Italian territory, to offer it to the ideas of young international specialists, building up a connection with the public entities. We face marginal and complex spaces to be relaunched with a fresh vision.

In the present short circuit of values, Eterotopia investigates contemporaneity in the attempt to read its controversial challenges, aiming to find out new perspectives. In order to implement the territorial planning strategy, our approach is declined in three operational tools. We enhance the interaction between various disciplines and experts, providing structured answers to complex questions.
The research study we develop beforehand is the output for the further designers’ approach. The common base we elaborate for the strategies enhances cross-cutting systems of comparison, fostering the future debate and dialogue.
We are the actors who operate as intermediaries between the local scale and the global one. The need to understand and safeguard the local identity faces the demand to dialogue with international dynamics, with the aim of providing local administrations with new tools for the territorial management.
