After more than a decade of study, research and design with teaching at the faculties of Architecture he decided to create a unique lab to discover forms of abstract meanings and concepts in Fine arts. Laboratory B has started its activities in January 2013.

Projected City

New definition of city skyline, silhouette, threshold, gateway, etc.

Projected City

New definition of city skyline, silhouette, threshold, gateway, etc.
Cities projected on a virtual screen to show their behaviors, character, attractions, identity, etc.
File under

Urban thresholds in the near future can perform as media which can deliver the city's information of any kind for those who are getting close. Non-scale virtual screens which represent city morph, natural and built form, identity, events, news, etc.

This evolution brings up a new definition of the gateway which makes a different experience of reaching the city. Road's turn and twists will have no effect on the legibility of the gateway. likewise, hierarchy, serial vision, view from the road and etc. will be redefined.

But it's not the end. Later on, virtual smart screens will be in charge of protecting the city as a "city guard" as well, by informing citizens about threatening events by specifically defined codes as a color range reflected on the city sky, at the right time.

And in the following steps of city projection, these virtual surfaces will project protection forces over the city against different types of threatening issues. Projected projected city…

Projected skyline in combination with other data is being generated on the virtual screens.

Current events and attractions of the city welcoming the passengers.

Media surface warns citizens about existent threats by projecting color on the city sky.
