Future Architecture Continues!
The first pan-European architectural platform is one of the 13 platforms that has successfully applied to European Platforms 2017 programme. Future Architecture will thus continue with the same support for the next four years. Be ready for the next Call for Ideas coming in November!
In 2015 Future Architecture platform was one of only three selected platforms from the 47 proposed applications for the European Union Creative Europe programme for cultural and creative sectors. After two extremely wonderful and productive years we are happy to announce that the first pan-European architectural platform has become one of 13 platforms that have successfully applied to European Platforms 2017 programme. Future Architecture will thus receive financial support in the amount of 2.000.000 € for its activities in the next four years.
Coordinated by Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO), Future Architecture connects 18 organizations and is dedicated to highlighting the emerging generation of talents in various disciplines and enables them to present their ideas about the future of cities and architecture. In the two years 628 ideas by 1016 emerging creatives have been presented through the platform and has produced over 100 events with over 200 emerging architects, urban planners, curators, critics and other, mostly young professionals all over Europe and beyond.
