Self Regeneration
Self Regeneration
Nowadays Architecture is an established monarchy.
Architecture of tomorrow has to be alive and autopoietic, therefore light, soft and flexible.
Auto-regeneration must arise from lacerated borders, from fertile and forgotten spaces. Its creative process must develop with the aid of the native communities.
Body cells regenerate completely every 7 years.
Architecture can be seen as living cell only if it becomes a constant collective process.
The architect should be like a sensitive director, suggesting the impossible, combining needs and desires with the local identity in total respect for the environment.
The population can be poetically active in the creation of its surrounding habitat; citizens can regenerates the spaces and create complex social values.
Through auto-regeneration, the architectonical and urban organism becomes eventually the image of a community that communicates with its waste.
Architectural self-regeneration will be nothing more than a collective process.
