Architecture as a field of knowledge and research

The metropolitan debate is multidisciplinary and hypertextual. It has evolved from the XIX century research about industrial city to post-metropolis or urban space of territorial scale and nature. Architecture even with determinant contributors as Hilberseimer, Le Corbusier, Tafuri, Rem Koolhaas, Viganò among many others, still lacks answers and moreover, ways of research, knowledge and practice to make pertinent contributions to the collective knowledge about our urban condition. Reciprocally we're not fully addressing the architectural issues, problems and potentialities of our time.
My research common denominators are the metropolitan debate, the understanding of processes, forms of urbanization and purpose of architecture work in contemporary societies. Therefore my fundamental contribution is look for the right questions in architecture to address the significant social, political, cultural transformations revealed in the spatial construction of the spaces we live in.

To find a perspective is a continuous work of traveling and recording what is seen and how it is seen. Below a highway.

Territory is a word with multiple meanings. The debate concerning the relationship between lexicon and it's content reveals the scientific and spatial uncertainty in the field of Urbanism. Below a cliff.

Mobility, infra-structure, the techno-human-urban condition of contemporary society. From the Aqueduct.

Housing as the principal common denominator. Convergence and sprawl of people in a specific space connected through social, cultural, political and economic relations of global dimensions.
