What happened to the Architectural manifesto? Are they still meaningful in a globalized panorama of cultures and influences or still persist a geographical, cultural, economical difference between architectural languages? MG is an experiment dealing with architectural manifestoes, migrations and globalization. Each office, both made of 3 to 300 collaborators, has its own different approach into the practice of Architecture. Sometimes that approach is concretized into a methodology, sometimes the same approach is characterized by a pragmatism of solving problems, sometimes it reveals a deep stance on the world. This is what manifestoes are dealing with. Manifesto comes from the latin manifestus: taken in hand. With the same hand we sketch, we express ideas and we shape the future. MG called a heterogeneous panorama of forty architects, from different cultures and generations to investigate upon this topic designing a bird house. 40 architects, 40 manifestos.
