Freelance designer, working mostly on fields of user interface / user experience design. To achieve my goal I use various techniques of graphic, information, service and identity design combined with empathy for the end user. I’m also a design theory and sociology enthusiast, interested in behavior economics and artificial intelligence, especially in relation to user’s experience. I have also received a Brumen's award (ui/ux) and an award from University of Ljubljana (design theory).

City 2.0

The Proper Experience of Urban Life

City 2.0

The Proper Experience of Urban Life
The future of architecture should be focused on creating self-sufficient and self-coordinated units that contribute the positive experience of the (urban) environment, or in other words - we need a society where all buildings are power plants that look like parks.
File under

The cities would not be part of a problem, but part of a solution. There are two aspects:

1. Since nowadays the solar panels are getting more and more efficient and applicable to almost every surface, we should pass the laws where every newly built building should have a facade, windows and/or rooftops covered with solar panels (that does not look like solar panels - so the aesthetics is no longer a problem).

2. The other aspect is regarding to the use of greenery as architecture unit - for example: sky scrapers should have parks on roof tops (that would help against heating the building in summer and against cooling the building in winter), the air conditioning system should use the plants for creating micro-climates in buildings.

So, if we use these two principles as a basic unit of architecture we could live in green cities with abundance of green energy. Abundance of energy would be the base for new economic model, where people would not need jobs to make a living.
