LABSTRATEGY forms an associated multidisciplinary platform between universities, civil society and public management, applying a methodology of projective strategies through workshops between various agents involved in degraded territory, aiming at the development of future scenarios.

The Laboratory of Projective Strategies of Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo, Brazil, seeks the development of multidisciplinary knowledge, from the interpretation of the infrastructures of a degraded territory or a port area, fostering urban scenarios for the requalification of urban sectors.
Since 2013 working through workshops with universities in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Angola, together with civil society and local public management.
Investigating the characteristics and socioeconomic impacts, diagnosing, and designing new urban experiences that arise through strategic systems developed methodologically for the development of urban designs. Establishing projective experiments as a method of teaching, answering: How can infrastructures, increasingly complex, determine an appropriate urban design that meets concomitantly the needs of users of a territory?



“Quebradas”, hills in Valparaiso, Chile. The work was carried out by applying economic development strategies, after the events of burning in 2014, aiming to establish incubators as engines of territorial development, for the generation of employment and urbanity in the sectors affected by the fire. "Riveras del Habitar Valdiviano", in the sector of "Las Animas", having suffered territorially from the 1960 tsunami in the city of Valdivia in southern Chile, the proposal seeks implementation through the application of urban strategy for the development of sustainably equitable urban areas by inducing a network of public sectors in the relationship between the urban border and the Calle-Calle River. FAUMACK + FAUUACH

"Riveras del Habitar Valdiviano", in the "Las Animas" sector, the proposal identifies a network in series, which applies in the areas that in 1960 suffered from the tsunami in the city of Valdivia in southern Chile, recovering the sectors of urban borders that have remained degraded over time and that enable the promotion of job creation for the implementation of incubators of shipyards as a promotion and economic attraction for the Calle-Calle River. "Caleta Tumbes", a fishing area in Concepción, southern Chile. The proposal seeks to qualify and foster the economic and population development of the area impacted by the 2018 tsunami, promoting environmental recovery, fostering creative economy focused on restaurant tourism and social inclusion of the algae fishing association held by women in the coastal border of the region that today and a conglomerate of more than 1500 people. Strategies for the containment of endemic stoneware’s for the urban area of “Paraisópolis” in São Paulo, Brazil. The work seeks to promote combat and prevention in March 2020, in this sector, which currently has more than 100,000 people, establishing mitigating actions and the application of a network of medical incubators for epidemiological combat.
