Our idea is to change the way architects view their profession. Architects today have a pipe dream: to create the perfect concept that will solve everything. But architecture faces a complexity that cannot be managed with concepts. We must rethink our approach and base our work on listening to and understanding complex systems. All our actions must be designed to have maximum impact with minimum means. But there is no longer any question of adding more and more elements to our built environment. By working with what exists, modifying it, testing it, challenging it, we can invent a new way of doing architecture that respects the environment, which includes the site, the client, the neighbours and more broadly the urban and territorial system into which the will is inserted.
Our project is a testimony of this approach.
