Nature, come BACK!

Nature, come BACK!

RE-Building the landscape with nature.

Between the mountains of Trentino, Arte Sella offers a unique experience through one of the most evocative route between art and nature in the world.
One night in October 2018 a storm hits Arte Sella, causing extensive damage and breaking the forest; so the need to recover all that has been lost.
Our proposal is based on an idea of "return to nature”, where architecture and nature come together in a continuous dialogue through the creation of a place that evokes the experience of the forest destroyed, using the remains of broken trunks from the storm and the resources of the place.
The intervention is proposed as a space that harmonizes with the landscape in which nature is interpreted through its geometrization: a multifunctional space that changes and adapts over time and space, generating functional areas, like area for cultural events, relax and meditation areas.
In a future scenario, nature will return to take back possession of the place, reconstituting the lost forest.
