Gülistan Kenanoğlu, born in Diyarbakır in 1996 had her BA at AGU in Turkey. She gave a presentation (Bağlaç), in Kadir Has University, and in 2018. One of her project (Displacement of the City) is in the RIBA President Medal Selection 2018 Part 1. With X over Y project she was selected as one of the finalists in Arkitera Travel Scholarship and with ‘Consume It!, Produce It! she invited to the Prix de Genève 2019,Switzerland as a nominee. She is currently working at CCEA MOBA.

-Fantasy-scape is a space that shape by genetically modified human beings’ fantasies.

The world's first genetically designed babies born in the China! “When all the ethical issues related to the subject are overcome, what will be the main element of architecture and the anatomy of the people in the near future?”.
Genetic manipulation techniques and transgenic life-forms are indispensable in the field. The examination of the boundaries of genetically modified human-forms and analyzation of the spaces will lead the future architecture. The question of “How will the regulated space be affected by manipulated human-beings?” and “How will today’s architectural world be affected by possible changes in the near future [percentage of the population and which countries will be affected by this situation]” will be realized and analyzed. The unpredictable situations for future architects will be investigated.The needs of the changing user profile to generate answers to alternative spaces will be identified.
