What a weird idea to write a concept for a text on architectures you have never seen. A concept yet to be conceived—at least in your head, dear reader, no? Architexture: All these vibrating spaces of history, society, nature, culture, our species, other species, the infraordinary, the extraordinary, the future and the past—we are tempted.
As editorial collective concerned with art, politics and thought there is not much we can throw into the ring apart from being wholeheartedly engaged in creating new narratives because: "It is the story that makes the difference." (Le Guin). Not only is it necessary to look at things differently but also to make a different use of them. To integrate them into existence not as a functioning (or non-functioning) tool, but as an entangled counterpart, a player, an agent and a structuring force with all it's paradoxical belongings. Maybe architecture is predestined for this exercise in transformation from a his/story of heroes to a tale of the living.
