Saclay Campus Constellation is an urban initiative that intends to re-invent the way we think and create urban development and architecture by densifying and reconsidering the potential of domestic spaces in existing cities.

The project is seizing the opportunity given by the development of a new university cluster that should welcome more than 30.000 students, professors and researchers for the next decade.

The goal is to take the opportunity of such a project to develop several student housings and innovative programs sprawled in a perimeter of a few km around the main sites. The SCC project process intends to work on several subjects such as building costs, local crafts industry implication.
By calling young, international and innovative architects to design small buildings (from 50 to 300m2) on domestic plots, the SCC project aims to (re)create social links with the inhabitants while innovating in architectural design.
