Cities Connection Project
Cities Connection Project
- Systemic changes
Connecting cities means to share knowledge between architects, but also with cultural and economic agents, politicians and, for sure, with people who live the city.
A double exhibition with 40 projects (2 cities with 20 projects each one) of public architecture (housing, public space, facilities...) takes place in the 2 cities.
The authors of the 20 projects of one city travel to the other city for the exhibition opening, visit the projects with the local architects and discuss about how they work in the city.
In few months, we repeat the strategy but in opposite direction.
So we cross 40 architecture studios (and landscape, engineering, customers, politicians...) in the two involved cities, sharing two intense days of opening, discussion and guided visits.
Repeating this model, between Barcelona and Mendrisio, Geneva, Zurich, Lausanne and Brussels, actually Cities Connection Project, after 5 connections, has involved a networking of more than 180 architecture studios.
