Inaugurated on 1st January 2021 this mix of gallery, arch hub and beach kiosk is a pioneering platform to promote exhibitions, lectures, activities and competitions: the ALALAÔ KIOSK!

Rio created its landscape, now a UNESCO heritage site. The beach (symbol of it’s culture) has always stimulated city's creative vocation. ALALAÔ KIOSK takes on the challenge of rethinking the city from its waterfront.

The project takes a traditional beach kiosk and turns inside out. Through a relaxed conceptual operation of a swiss knife, a Japanese origami and a space module to transform a 4m2 hut into an open public space, generating energy and broadcasting information real time.

Created in 2010 ALALAÔ Art Promoting Group is composed by an architect, a designer, a gallery owner, a filmmaker, and a lawyer.
