Responsible Responsiveness
Responsible Responsiveness
Urge for the responsiveness within architecture, as a nurtured paradox, has been present throughout the history. It has recently been boosted by the digital revolution and changes in cultural context driven by mantra of sustainability.
Lots of mad-scientist ideas, countless exuberant prototypes and miles of algorithmic code are being exponentially produced at the architectural schools and engaging professional practices worldwide. While on the other hand there is limited architectural production able to claim architectural excellence and provoking wider cultural impact at the level of the multiple public communities.
Critical discourse on the responsiveness is ready to blossom at the ripe territory of the vibrant global production. Therefore organization of a series of roundtables, exhibitions and workshops is suggested in search of the responsible common-sense responsiveness between non-functional obsoleteness and euphoric sensual pollution.
