Focused on digital fabrication and designing autonomous structures during his masters education and "Robotic Micro Housing" project selected for the cover of Pratt’s annual publication InProcess 22. Stone has been the essential building material for centuries due to its strength and endurance. Also, malleable and evolving qualities have been inspiring designers. Currently, its role has changed became a finishing material. Hexa.stone is an urban furniture. It is inspired by the hexagonal basalt formations of Iceland. It aims to help people to remember that the stone is not just a finishing material but it is actually the nature itself. It references to extreme landscape its mobility contradicts which creates a surprising illusion for the users. It is designed to take place at the plazas which can create a space for gathering, thinking, exhibiting. Modules can form a forum or a courtyard. It offers a space to work, surface to lean on or a gallery for local artist exhibitions. It works with a simple channel and 360 wheels system which brings flexibility and unlimited potential. It can be built according to the form of the space and environment will shape the potentials of the system.


Hexa.stone offers a lot of potentials for the users. It can create a space for gathering, resting, thinking, exhibiting, and even isolating.
