"Parallel" is a project that takes place in Ustka,Poland, and it was born with the intention of rehabilitating a forgotten concrete pier built during the passage of German troops through the country.

The project makes a great effort to relate to the immediate environment that surrounds it and redirects the view towards a dialogue between the surface and the seabed. The fact of access already means a descent towards silence, tranquility, peace.
As we build the building we can see how it is hidden under the extension of the back hill, trying to integrate at all times.
The program of the structure accommodates a restaurant, small galery of local art and thermal swimming pool, thus generating the possibility of experiencing something unique. It is walkable roof generates a platform that provides the opportunity to look to the horizon from a position closer to the sea.
