POP UP MA PAROLE

SCENOGRAPHIC INSTALLATIONS AS A PLATFORM FOR PARTICIPATIVE PROCESSES

POP UP MA PAROLE

SCENOGRAPHIC INSTALLATIONS AS A PLATFORM FOR PARTICIPATIVE PROCESSES
POP UP MA PAROLE is a graphic-architectural platform for scenographic participatory processes in an urban context.

  • New alliances

POP UP MA PAROLE was developed in 2019 by graphic designer Janine Vandamme-Schlimpert and architect Robert Ilgen during a creative laboratory residency at Goethe Institute Nancy.

The project designs and implements mobile structures for public events, in social and cultural spaces. The structures appear as pop-up architectures and transform public spaces into meeting points. In doing so, you invite visual communication and thus initiate a public exchange of views.
Our installations and actions are intended to stimulate thought and set a narrative in motion in which everyone with their specific background can have their voice.
It's about making the public space visible through the opinions and comments of the residents. Because without the presence of social actors, space is only an empty shell without properties. Only through their actions do people create a living and real place. From local to global, across borders, texts, typography and images enable travel between individuals.
