A quick-to-fabricate School prototype well suited for an African climate region; Region, Nigeria, to be constructed and inhabited in 2 weeks & established as a national standard for natural disaster housing or IDP Camp Housing across the world

Over the years, War, Natural Disaster and Terrorism have deprived millions of children the opportunity to be raised under good conditions. IDP (Internally displaced persons) Camps and Disaster Shelters are not meeting the expectations of helping the homeless live a decent life. Children raised under these conditions are growing and will integrate into the society eventually.

This Project serves as an immediate design solution in providing a quick-to-fabricate School prototype well suited for an African climate region, Nigeria as the chosen Region, which can successfully be constructed and inhabited in 2 weeks. This Educational centre to be adopted by the Federal Government in Nigeria, will be established as a national standard for natural disaster housing or IDP Camp Housing across specific region in the Country as well as other countries affected by Natural disasters provided the availability of local building materials.



Greatness lies within each of us. But how great can we be without an enabling environment. We shape our environment, and our environment in turn shapes us. What this basically means is this: we are greatly influenced by our immediate environments. Educate Them project containing the brief of the Project

Concept & Parti: Creating a Psychologically, physically balanced learning environment despite their unbalanced state for Childrens of IDPs

Ground Floor Plan Showing the Grid Layout and arrangements of the classrooms with a perimeter concourse, in relationship to the Playground, Animal Pen, Convienience, football playground as well as the Assembly point for meetings and general announcement. The floor Plan includes the use of collapsible walls made out of Bamboo & other locally sourced materials. We drew inspirations from the Bali VIllage in indonesia

The Educational Centre was design successfully be constructed and inhabited in 2 weeks. This shows the construction timeline and stages.
