Wandering Office
Wandering Office
We want to establish a practice where architects and urban planners literally work in the field. And we understand it less as an office moving from one place to another, but more as the willingness to spontaneously change the place you work in. It could be an empty shop in the town centre or just a small stand you put up in the public. We believe that the flexibility in the approach to your working space will also show in the projects which will be developed. And by weaving ourselves into the urban or rural fabric -spatially and socially - we aim to observe and understand the places in order to achieve outcomes which evolve within the existing built or non-built space and the social environment. Our idea is to provide a wandering office which goes wherever a design issue is on the spot to be solved. We break it down to basic infrastructure which is needed to be able to work in our field but other than that, the accommodation is exchangeable.
