The City of Tomorrow

La Ciudad del Mañana / A Vila do Mañá

The City of Tomorrow

La Ciudad del Mañana / A Vila do Mañá
In the times we live, where everything is a "click" away, where flying over Tokyo or New York is within reach, where I can visit the Partenón from the screen ... we have forgotten the place I live. How can we recover the relationship with the city? how can we make the city our place?

"The City of Tomorrow " is an educational and divulging project whose objective is that from the childhood and through the game, awareness of all the scales of the common is taken into account: tangible and intangible heritage, architecture, urbanism and the landscape.
The main objective is that childhood and adolescence be present actively in the processes of construction of the common space (square, neighborhood, city ...) For this it is necessary that they discover and know the value of their environment and equip them with the necessary tools to develop their creativity, from art and architecture. The aim is to provoke in them the awakening of a new look on the spaces in which they develop their life. At the same time that from the architectural discipline becomes aware of a new vision of the city, which is what we will be the inhabitants of tomorrow.

Building, knowing and enjoying the spaces that are usually vetoed. Playing with the line.

Invading, knowing and enjoying spaces. Playing with the horizontal plane.

Invading, knowing and enjoying spaces. Playing with the vertical plane.

Creating new perceptions in the city I live. Playing with the vertical plane.

Invading, knowing and enjoying spaces. Playing with three-dimensional elements.
