I am an architect from ETSAE of Cartagena. My bilingual training facilitated me to work in an architecture studio in France. Years later, I cooperated with an NGO as a French interpreter for immigrants. Currently, I work at Clavel Arquitectos in Murcia. The experience apprehended abroad, the sensitivity assimilated as an interpreter, as well as the creativity and restlessness developed in projects tangential to architecture, are concepts that define me as a person and as an architect.

Luxury, or the need for the unneeded
This project tries to give an answer to the complex situation that we inherited from the real estate bubble in Spain.

This project serves as a precedent to avoid the mistakes that were made a decade ago in the Spanish territory and that population still suffer today.

From the specific case of golf tourism boom in the Region of Murcia, the project reflects on similar cases that have systematically occurred throughout the Spanish coast.

The project finds an opportunity here and proposes to redirect the situation using landscape and irony as a work tool.

WELCOME TO THE MAR MENOR GOLF TOUR

Success seemed guaranteed by joining in the same equation Golf + Resort + Seafront. Between 2003 and 2011, the proposals based on this tourist model went off, reaching the realization of 34 golf courses for the Region; there are 19 of them built today.

A NEW LANDSCAPE

Doesn't this vacuum respond to an unprecedented front line golf? Wouldn't it be an opportunity to “inhabit the landscape”?

LUXURY ARCHIPELAGO

15 are the most introverted atmospheres and, therefore, 15 people who, carefully selected from the prestigious Forbes List, will want to own a villa at La Serena Golf. “Thus, half buy by image and prestige. And the other half because they are passionate about golf, a sport that has always moved in the elite.”

ARRANGING THE FOREST

Jumping from the micro to the macro, architecture itself is capable of becoming landscape and vice versa. Traveling from landscape scale to domestic scale allows us to discover the house.

Will there be biggest luxury than contemplating how landscape penetrates our house?

ENERGY ELEMENTS ON THE LANDSCAPE

A landscape of minimal elements, in continuous dialogue and acting as a backdrop during the development of the game. Able to even expand by the limit of the golf course.

We were able to: house things in them, climb them or even penetrate them.
Thanks to the energy accumulation system, they offered light, kept the water warm, or regulated the temperature of the house.
Others, accumulated water pumped in height that would later be used for irrigation
