The collaboration is at the crossroad between architecture, research and creative direction, fascinated by the abundance of information and the endless multiplicity. Driven by contemporary situations they approach the complexity of sites through the means of multidisciplinary sources and a referential vocabulary.

Architectural narratives: Subjective mapping of urban situations and generation of random narratives by the means of an algorithm.

Architectural narratives: Subjective mapping of urban situations and generation of random narratives by the means of an algorithm.
Extrapolation as a method to create architectural narratives through time-based media for a kinetic and multi-dimensional reading of urban environments, as a tool for investigations and design.

Type of project
  • New alliances

The aim of this method is to reveal and intensify artificially the tension between a subjective reading of an urban space & its specific contemporary issues - which, by definition, is charged with affects and connotations; & an objective re-writing through an algorithm, which, in essence, is devoid of moral judgement. Therefore we experiment, increase the perceptive & narrative field of architecture with the potential of creative technology, through researching, curating and instrumentalising referential sources on the one hand, and transposing it in real time situations – by creating new narratives & taking position in the current context. With the aim of recognizing the state of fragility and uncertainty of contemporary society and cities.

structured according to:

1. Discovery of the Site
2. Exhaustion of the place
3. Empirical and subjective survey
4. Accumulation of impressions
5. Algorithmic editing
