Cracking Urban Code

post-war privatization process and the transformation of the the urban pattern
Urban repair to metropolitan areas and generally cities characterized by a substantial loss of identity with a non-controlled urban chaos.
File under

Today, metropolitan areas and generally post-war cities are characterized by a substantial loss of identity with a non-controlled urban chaos. The post-war period have somehow become the birth of a massive opportunistic urban abuse causing a huge informality and an unplanned painful urbanization.
Privatizing of public ownership is changing the mindset and transforming the urban culture in our cities.
So the research aims to present a comprehensive "city on the city" alternative aiming space reproduction towards urbanity as a built surface phenomenon with its own dynamics and metabolism.
As a concept of cohabitation in-between privatized and public space it encourages regular interaction in “pro-social spaces” and “a sense of community” through well-developed urban and landscape design projects for a sustainable society that can combine and live in many atmospheres in a very harmonic way where people can interact, work, play, breathe and live healthy.
