NEMO
- Site-specific cases
The Project is characterized by a constant and direct relationship between the users and nature, both indoor and outdoor, ensuring numerous benefits: energizing effect, stimulation of mental and visual abilities, reduction of stress and diseases, increased neuromuscular skills for children, disabled and elderly.
The Park and the buildings promote biodiversity, increase resilience, take into account the various aspects of well-being through the use of natural light, air, water, green elements and the use of eco-sustainable materials.
The rain gardens filter and purify the water. They prevent flooding and reduce the presence of polluting substances in the air. A water tank is connected to the rain gardens to accumulate and store the rainwater in the subsoil and allows its future reuse. The facilities are shaped to recall the water atoms, with green terraces and indoor vegetation they are used for economic, cultural and recreational activities.
