City Reflection Park is a concept of a city park, built and maintained by locals, a cumulation of programs reflecting people’s lives and connections, a vision of a diverse, smart and confident society. It's a system connecting residents, designers and municipality in design of public space.

Our aim is a project that needs some designers’ guidance and help, but is ultimately generated between users. The content and form are derived from needs and wishes of the users and are showing relationships between them.

Here, design is a foundation for rationality and an aesthetic base, but allows and affirms users with granting them trust.

The final result would present a mirror to the city, a reflection of the local society.

Our idea is demonstrated on the case of Šmartinski park in Ljubljana, once a space of illegal gardens, now an organised, but somehow lifeless park.
