The Black City

There's none so blind as those who will not feel.
Awaken your senses and deepen your awareness. By touching, smelling and hearing will allow you to see in a different way and will bring you an unforgettable journey.

Our cities are constantly growing and an ever-rising. Every city has its own specifications. Current urban mobility is characterized by countless mostly accepted or ignored inefficiencies: traffic jams, noise, hazards, pollution, waiting times, standing resources.

Scientifically known that when we lose our sense of sight we develop other senses. In the consideration of this fact, we will construct a tour exhibition lasts for 30 min and happens in complete darkness. Which will help us to open new perception by make visitors feel more deep convey the characteristics of daily environments such as scent, sounds, wind, temperature.

The project aims to include a wider audience (+7) but also young urban planners, urban sociologists and architects. To make the project come true we need a space designed as a maze room where it leads you through urban chaos. Sound system is one of the most important parts of the installation along with temperature, smell and pits on the road.
