Virtual Cities in augmented Reality

Virtual Cities in augmented Reality

Social Network in Space
Future architecture will not only exist in physical reality, it will happen also in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.

The idea of architecture in VR or is not new, we have all seen the film MATRIX. And now with the development of modern technologies is getting more real. People will not live in small cocoons connected in huge towers, no. But I believe that people will more and more use VR and AR to meet in virtual space. The screen of computer, tablet or phone will no longer be enough to experience the connection between people online. Just like now people are able to see pokemons on their phones, people would be able to see huge architectures in the cities. These structures will be only holograms visible with HoloLens or more sophisticated tool in the future. People will spend more time in virtual space. So how this space will look like? I come up with idea of cocoons flying in space like private rooms, where people will meet in a body of their avatar. I am sending a picture that I made for Barcelona, because these virtual architectures should be different according to specific sites.
