We the Future

NOUS LE FUTUR // NOSOTROS EL FUTURO // NOS O FUTURO

We the Future

NOUS LE FUTUR // NOSOTROS EL FUTURO // NOS O FUTURO
WE THE FUTURE gathers, empowers & transmits flows of collective intelligence(s) inhabiting our cities.
File under

WE THE FUTURE has become a collective citizen’s love letter to future & past generations, through archiving the emotional life of multiple cities in the EU from 2008-2016. As a chronopolitical audio archive it is an invitation to listen to citizen hopes, fears, anxieties, & desires on our collective becoming WE THE FUTURE. From Tahrir square, to Athens, Madrid, NYC, & Taksim Gezi Park the social movements have shown the urgency of preserving “social commons," as spaces to collectively imagine futures, through producing & sharing open source knowledges. WE THE FUTURE embraces collective life inhabiting our civic spaces through creating networks of solidarity to care for the social & natural commons as “future architectures," that must be passed to the next generations for our survival. By creating new spaces for empathic transmission of shared histories; we continue to create intergenerational conversations as part of the evolutionary process of becoming “WE THE FUTURE."

WE THE FUTURE, will culminate 8 years of audio research in multiple cities in the Europen Union. Upon completion a series of citizen sonic time capsules will be released from Paris, Barcelona, Lisbon, and upcoming cities upon invitation, culminating in a series of radio guided performances.
