I am a visual artist working with video with the focus on different forms of storytelling particular to specific communities. My works intertwine urban histories of entities that from an ideological and political stand point remain on the margins of recognition. My travels often take a shape of journal-like reconfigurations that attempt at re-defining the popular understanding of what borders, buildings, territories or geographies represent today.

Where stories cut across the land
The internal-external political instability in territories with limited recognition that continuously are changing and shaping the community, environment and the act of constructing and planning.

Traveling to document the present situation of some unrecognized territories is my main topic in the log term project "Fragments I". Landscape, architecture or the act of constructing and planning are the main protagonists of this videos. The future of the development of architecture of this places is uncertain, often modified, reshaped or destroyed, always deepening of how this minorities are played mostly by external but also pupet-internal political interests. This places share commune aspirations and uncertainties, such as the possibility of belonging and not, existing and not, constructing or not. Temporary constructions are commune for a region or an unrecognized territory that tell us already a lot about the past, present and the future social and political activity.
