Dulcineia Santos, 1982, studied architecture at DAAUM from 1999-2001. From 2001-2007 attended the Oporto School of Architecture (intern at Lacaton & Vassal) In 2012, won the 1st Samsung prize and founded Pierrot Le Fou-a collective enrolled into photography. From 2009-2017 she collaborated with HERZOG & DE MEURON. In 2017, founded her own architecture firm - DSSTUDIO as branch of Pierrot Le Fou Lda, operating between Porto and Basel in the fields of architecture and urbanism.

This project raises a new perspetive on the breakout spaces that are dedicated to the workers in industrial environments. The understanding of the place where we work as a place where we live most of the time of our lives is understood by the our client and pushed further by the project in all design stages and topics.
