Overcoming the connection between domestic and home, this research explores one of the many declinations of meaning of the word domestic.
If we are looking for what is most domestic, we come to what is common to many people. So we identify as domestic those characteristics of the urban landscape that all its inhabitants recognize: there is a principle of identity in them. They are the repository of images, sensations, materials and imaginations. A deposit that takes place in manifestations that are often minute, silent, sometimes immaterial, barely perceptible yet always solidly present.
They inevitably relate the scale of the elements of detail to the geographical scale, because they are all intimately connected to the climate, the structure of the territory, the way of settling there.
This is certainly an interpretative action, but at the same time it preserves a transformative action, declaring a project attitude that recognizes and enhances the domestic landscape.
