Sýstēma

Architectural project makes it happen
Architectural project as an act of combining different necessities and disciplines into a unique, complex system.
File under
Type of project
  • Systemic changes

The System is defined as an aggregate of parts: each one may exist isolated but depending on each other and all tend toward the same purpose. Architectural project can have the power to make it happen.
In TerreinMovimento the project responds to the need of exhibit artworks within a space that is itself an historical-artistic heritage. Considering equally important the need to showcase both the artworks and the church itself, the exhibition design is based on this dual purpose. The exhibition reserves two distinct, although combined, experiences, as a single element but consisting of two opposite sides. A double face continuous wall thus establishes an interior and an exterior space.
Nevertheless the architectural project does not renounce its autonomy, generating a new perception of space through form and matter.
Heritage, history, contemporary photography, video-art, and of course the people coalesce, thanks to the architectural project, into a new unique enchanting system.
