Living and Emotional Architecture

architecture that can feel, learn and grow with us

Living and Emotional Architecture

architecture that can feel, learn and grow with us
I believe in a heterogeneous, liquid, intuitive, sensitive, adaptable and changing architecture.

I believe in an architecture where bodies can remain suspended, safe and free.
I believe in a heterogeneous architecture based on practical experimentation.
I believe in a liquid architecture where the walls and the floors and the ceilings are a unique continuous element that could react to the humans needs, accompanying us and growing with us.
I believe in nature as a source of inspiration for our complex architectures., because nature integrates beauty and functionality, also welcomes and resolves controversies perfectly.
I believe in architecture that assumes intuitive manufacturing processes.
I believe in a sensitive, adaptable and changing architecture.
I believe in a living architecture that welcomes all emotions, not just the good ones.
I believe in an architecture that grows, is grown and generates edible by-products.
I believe in architects as breeders instead of creators.

I believe in an architecture where bodies can remain suspended, safe and free. Bodies floating and moving through soft little worlds, all different and all connected.
The image shows a journey through different projects where my obsession with hanging up is shown.

I believe in a heterogeneous architecture based on practical experimentation, where artisanal and digital processes are combined and the materials are soft and deformable.
“Small and soft words”, digital collage commissioned by Le Frac Centre-Val de Loire for the Biennale D´Architecture D´Orleans, 2017.

I believe in a liquid architecture where the walls and the floors and the ceilings are a unique continuous element that could react to the humans needs, accompanying us and growing with us. It would be an architecture in which it is impossible to distinguish the natural from the artificial.
“Reactive Architectures Galaxy”, digital collage commissioned by Le Frac Centre-Val de Loire for the Biennale D´Architecture D´Orleans, 2017.

I believe in architecture that assumes intuitive manufacturing processes, because we must rely more on our instincts.

On the right: “Supercluster”, growth of the installation to 90 pieces, commissioned by Le Frac Centre-Val de Loire for the Biennale D´Architecture D´Orleans, 2017. Photo by Nacho A. Monteserín.

I believe in a living architecture that welcomes all emotions, not just the good ones. It accompanies and stimulates at the same time, reacting to the behavior of those who inhabit its interior.
“One Architecture for Diverse Emotional Ecosystems”, installation commissioned by María Montero for the Young Art Gallery of the Community of Madrid.
