We believe architecture is definitely a team sport, and everything we design becomes better the moment we learn how to collaborate with others. In Romania, it is often played individually, reason why a lot of offices get stuck at the very beginning of their journey. We believe the future is about finding new structures of working, not about forcing the old ones to work. The Design Incubator aims to improve the way these offices work, by creating a Plug and Play system when it comes to architectural practices. It aims to give a firm all the necessary resources for 5 years, while integrating it in a bigger structure, providing the interesting projects and connections it needs to grow up healthily. In this way, the small offices will be independent, but they can also function as a whole when the projects require it and that is a new thing when it comes to the Romanian architectural stage. The building itself will be a hub, a connector, providing an intellectually challenging environment.
